Subject: Think about this!

I have been thinking about how you all are doing and while I'm sure people know that you are busy I had a think about how really busy you are. I have a 2yr old and an 8mths old and somedays I do not know which way is up so this is what I calculated.
If you alot 15 mins per feed and 3 mins for a nappy change and 10 mins for a settling cuddle at 8 feeds per day for three babies that comes to 11.2 hours. Add a bath for the trio at 15 mins per baby and a baby massage(good for the growth). That's over twelve hours to keep them going.
Add a demanding toddler to the equation with one bath , three meals, 2 snacks,a trip to the park, 2 pictures drawn and 6 books read plus bath and 15 mins to clean your favourite Clinique lipstick off the wall. Don't talk about meals , washing , shopping ,visitors and wellwishers. Also when you gaze across the room and realise that person over there with the nappy over their shoulder is your wonderful valued husband/wife but all you can say is" oh my goodness did you pay the phone bill?"
You guys are doing an incredible job. While I'm sure you have lots of help there is no substitute for Mum and Dad as my two year old says frequently "Mummy do it".You guys give me perspective on my busy days.I am tired just thinking about it.
We are so happy to hear you hear that Jasper, Sela and Carys have made it home and the way they have progressed is fantastic. Also a thank you to the Aunty that has kept us up to date and reassured us that your doing O.K.
Keep up the good work. We are thinking of you and yours. Best wishes and prayers for a smooth ride.

[> [> Caldwell Connection -- Jennifer Cheung, 17:58:28 06/12/04 Sat [1]

Dear Carolyn,
My Mother in law lives in Melbourne at the moment but said she will have a look in the family records and bring them to Sydney next time she is here. What she could tell me is that we have traced back to Scotland and her father was cousins with the Caldwell Family that produced towels in Canada. She said that she knows they have shut down because she lived in London ,Canada for the year 1997 (my sister in law is a paediatric neurosurgeon and trained there). Grandma is 80 years old and sharp as a tack. I'm sure she'll find out some more for me.
Best Wishes
Jenny Cheung

Do you have any family history on your "grandmother Caldwell"? I wonder if there might be a connection?
