Personally, I think it's not such a bad thing. No need to have vehicles on the beach when we have a nice rigging area there to use.

I'm sure that the council will consult though before a decision is made. I'll make a call and see what I can find out.

I definately can see the importance of keeping it open for putting in of boats at the point for fishing/surfing/diving. I'm sure that a compromise can be reached and I'll happily go into bat for that to be kept available if it's needed.

The goal of council is probably to stop yahoo's racing and using Pt Moore as a drag strip/circle work area and stuffing things up by being dangerous.

A very valid point.
