Thanks Mick, I'm not pro industry and not always anti industry but at the same time I hear plenty of arguement either way that is full of hypocitical views, maybe more emotional than logical. Like you said its suprising what heavy metals are floating around, but most date back to a different environmental mindset from past years. On the other hand the tourism industry is not so enviro friendly, more cars, buses,and all the services to keep them alive, more and bigger roads etc, I'm not convinced that I would like to see Geraldton turn into a full blown tourist town (not that it is likely anyway)it's just swapping one demon for another.
