How to ask a girl i really like out -- Mike Karns, 04:23:29 10/25/02 Fri

Uhhh...well this girl that I like attends a math and science school just like me and I really like her. She knows that I like her because my friends told her then we talked but I don't know if she likes me. I didn't follow up our conversation because I didn't know what to do and I didn't want to force her to say whether he liked me or not, because I was afraid it would be not. Do you guys have any advice?

just ask her
start up a random conversation with her and lead up to it
if she says no, then you didn't lose anything
then you'll know that she doesn't like you

Well, there is this one girl at my school that caused my heart to stop the first day she arrived at the school we go to. She knows that I like her, but I don't know if she likes me. She barely even talks to me! I think I'm starting to gain her love by doing her the simplest favors in school, but I don't know for sure. Is there any other way that I can try and gain her love? She's turned me down once before, but I'm not gonna give up. There's got to be another way, so help me! I can't think of a way myself because her beauty blocks all possible thoughts whenever I'm around her.. So someone please please help me.

Theres this girl that I danced with at school. She was really fine and now I cant stop thinking about her. Today when I went to school I kept on looking for her and I found her. I was kind of shy so I didnt talk to her. Now I am full of regret. I still cant stop thinking about her and I cant wait to look for her tomorrow and actually talk to her. Dude the same thing happend to me last year and i gave up on her, it turned out to be a good desition because i found out she a whore, so if your not going to give up then you better make her like you fast before other guys take her away if you know what i mean.

THere is a girl i work with at a chinese restaurant.. i lvie in canada but im vietnamese and she was born in china but she is takin College her as an International student....ive known her for a year now and i REALLY like her alot and she ask me to marry her for her to stay in canada....i dunno if she is using me or not but she seemed sympathetic when she said it...i havent gave her an answer and ever since then she rarely talks to me....like as if she tries to aviod me ..i dunno if shes shy or just ignore me cuz she feels uncomfortable around her....i dunno wut to do...i dunno how to ask her out so i can get to know her better.....WHAT IS YOUR SUGGESTION>>>>>plz eamil me m_nguyen35@hotmail.com

ok dude... think of this girl as your bratty little sister, treat her like your doing her a favor by even talking to her. and um, dont do things for her, girls want a guy that is in control, not that she can control. give her some crap if she asks u to do something, and then just as shes about to give up, do it. by doing stuff for her it seems as if ur chasing her, she'll run away. let her come to u. talk to her alot and then just leave and act like u care nothing about her. give her some dirty looks once in a while, but always smile after.

listen just be cool and go up and ask her if she says yes then excelent for you but if she says no (your gonna hear this alot)just remember that there will be other girls you like dont let this one kill you

You have to talk to her and get to know her personality so you know what to get her. You have to get her something on Valentine's day so she know's you were thinking about her or if you were on Vacation and came back and got her something from were you went, or for a Christmas present. You have to talk to her and be nice to her. You have to stand up for her if anyone makes fun of her. I am madly in love with a girl in my school named Janell I would give my life for this girl but she is dating another boy right now and I just know that I am meant for her and not him. When I am around her I laugh and have the best time but its getting worse for me because I dream of her everynight but still I cant ask her out. Bro, I know the feeling all to well. I'm in the same situation as you, but the one I like doesn't have a boyfriend. I just can't seem to find the courage to ask her out for fear that she'll say no and never talk to me again. I was in the same situation with you, until tonight. I've been chickening out on asking out this guy I like for months ... I've never asked a guy out in my life. Finally couldn't stand my cowardice anymore, I decided I would do it tonight, I took a chance, and asked him out. I'm psyched first because I went ahead and asked him out, and second, because he said yes!

No matter what the outcome, you need to know where you stand with him once and for all. My advice to you is to ask him out. If you don't, you will drive yourself crazy wondering if you should have, which does not help you.

Here's what I said to him: "Hey, I need to ask you something. I'm just going to go ahead and say it. I LIKE you ... would you like to have coffee sometime?". He said "sure".

See how simple that was? What could be more low-key than coffee? And if he does turn you down, then at least you'll know where you stand and you can spend your energy on another sweetie.

Okay: if you have any friends that are friends with him, ask them to talk to him and see what he thinks of you. If you don't, try talking to one of his close friends. Tell them that you are insterested in this guy and ask that friend to ask him what he thinks of you. I don't know the best way to find out whether he likes you or not or just wants to be friends. When you say you've kinda hooked up, what do you mean by that?

But I will tell you one thing - if you both are wondering what it would like to be together but each of you is too shy to ask, you are wasting potentially great relationship because neither of you has the courage to come forward. That is sad - don't let it happen to you. OK i knew this girl from last year and we talked alittle bit but nothing more than a few words here and there. This year she is in 2 of my classes and we sit right next to each other in both of them, we talk alot now but i mostly start the conversations. We act liked we known each other for quite some time in the classes but at lunch or something like that we dont hang around or see each other much. So yesterday i asked her out to see a movie but she just gave me a the run around and tried to explain that she already had seen ALL of the new movies( i assume that she didnt want to hurt my feeling by just saying flat out NO, so i think she might have some feelings for me...) and so i took it as a No and walked her to her locker and said "goodbye." When someone is afraid to ask a person out they're not afraid of that person saying "no" as much as they're afraid of rejection. Howerver, there's no easy way to answer these kind of questions and rejection comes with the territory.
And it's sad but true that there are 'leagues'. It's a shit-ball system so the best thing you can probably do is catch the guy or girl when they don'tpotentially, have any people to impress by making you look stupid. That way if they do then it's not that bad and if they don't then it's all good.
An easy way to improve your league is to do some casual working out so you look more manly and thus rise to a different league.
Just do some pushups and crunches. The idea is to get your muscles tired because if they're not tired you're not breaking them down which makes them bigger.
When you get manly, and can't do a reasonable amount of pushups and get tired then have a (hot) girl sit on your shoulders while you do it. Don't do situps because they're virtually useless since you want a 6-pack. Or only do them if you can get that same girl to wrap her legs around your head while you do situps.
I got out of high school a year ago so take my word on this stuff because the world isn't personallity-based.

OK i knew this girl from last year and we talked alittle bit but nothing more than a few words here and there. This year she is in 2 of my classes and we sit right next to each other in both of them, we talk alot now but i mostly start the conversations. We act liked we known each other for quite some time in the classes but at lunch or something like that we dont hang around or see each other much. So yesterday i asked her out to see a movie but she just gave me a the run around and tried to explain that she already had seen ALL of the new movies( i assume that she didnt want to hurt my feeling by just saying flat out NO, so i think she might have some feelings for me...) and so i took it as a No and walked her to her locker and said "goodbye." Im not afraid of rejection and i know i can get a few new numbers here and there but this girl just seems diffrent from the rest. She doesnt have a boyfriend and i cant think of any reasons why she would say NO (except for she might be playing 'Hard to Get') if any one has any ideas please respond, or better yet e-mail me because im am truly out of move here.

Hey man. this is my advice to you. Try to become friends with her, get to know her a little bit first but dont make it too obvious you like her. After a while ask her out to see a movie, ( i suggest with a bunch of friends), and then hope she says yes again. Good luck.

Dear "in love",

If you really like him and feel the time is right and you and this boy are like best friends then you should be able to talk to him your self. Now putting the words together to say " Will you go out with me " thats the hard part.

Whatever you do don't get a friend to do it (can you really trust them) and don't give him a note. Once you have it on paper who knows whose eyes will see it.

i like this boy who is way older than me like 4 yrs older.

I like this girl at school a whole lot. She is in all my classes except math in 7th period. I had a plan to slip a note into her locker. I work at concessions at school so i'm always late to class. So the halls are empty i would just slip it in when walk by. We can't go to the lockers between classes so, it makes it perfect to find it after school. Plus, i would do it on friday when we have the weekend off. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

ok how do i start this. i'm at school and all of a sudden this girl walks in and she is a quarta piece!!! i really like her so i turn to my friend and say "maaaan who is that over there" he says "that's my sister and don't try to ask her out" and since were pretty good friend i listen to him.

well first of all you need to call her ^ and ask her if she likes you....to get the truth from her not anyone else...but..HER.....then u need to ask her how much she likes the other guy she is talking to and if she would be willing to give you a chance a get to know her and go on from there......also if yall start to like eachother allot tha distance between tha two of ya shouldnt be a big deal if she likes u enough she will want and try to make it work....l8r dude email me sumtime

Hey everyone, French kissing is simple so dont worry about it. I was really nervous that if a guy ever frenched me i would be suprised and not know what to do.. I know i'm a little weird, but i practiced on a mirror so i could see exactly how i was comeing into it. i also practiced on my hand and yeah i used my tongue i wanted to get the perfect french kiss down just right. i went to sites about learning how to french and all that. its more of a naturaly thing that just happens, when he sticks his tongue in your mouth you wont even realize its there at first cuz it just happens so sudden, and just play along by swirling your tongue slowly around his takeing turns in and out of eachothers mouths, then slowly back away from it end with a hug and maybe in a few days you will get better.. its always worked for me to just wait for the guy to french you cuz that way until that day comes you can practice.. but i find the first normal kiss encourgaes them when its from the girl.. you will be locking lips and frenching in no time, just relax it comes natural dont think about it

im a 12 year old but thats not a good idea things react differently around friends and a movie is a great place to start no conversation till after the movie

Well my x did something like that and I'm fine without him. See I got to the point that I don't need A boyfriend to make me happy or make me fell good about myself. I am also wondering if it would be weird if i ask her out and she says no then it might be weird to work with her again. We sit down and eat alot and i was about to ask her out to a fair when another coworker made a joke that we should be a couple and she said i wasn't her type. Is she just saying that or is she serious. I know not to say will you go out with me instead say would you like to get together some time and do something. Please i need help quick. just do it! ask her to the fair! or to do somthing big that you think she would like doing! it will be oK! if she says not then she isnt good enough to be with you, yes i know that sounds mean but if she cant go and have a good time with you then she isnt worth it! good luck i hope this helps!

allrite dude a few thigns, first if she filed a restrictin order thing just cuz u touched her then i would say pretty much from that ur screwed but some other things, from the comment about u killing urself i think ur just a tad too attached to this girl, i would try to tell u some things to do to help u with this chic but it seems ur pretty much screwed, if u wont take any of my advice at all just lay low for a while and be sure not to try ANYTHING that might piss her off the least bit more, man u just gotta move on from her, there is very little chance in hell but if ur so freaking attached that u wont take advice after u asked for it then all i can say is stay away from her for a while, u mite give her the creeps about obsession

If she rejects you again,move on to another girl. killing yourself is not an opition cause i've been in the same situation(but with a boy of course)as you and i thought of killing myself almost 3 times and it hasn't worked. so killing yourself is not an option. so believe me on this one, i know how it feels. like i said ask her again and if she rejects you, she might lose a great guy like you.
