I moved to America from Dublin where I danced since I was three. I am now living in Jacksonville Florida but can't seem to find a school. If anyone can give me a few tips to help me find one please do.
P.S. If you like Irish music you should listen to Cahir O' Doherty.

Unfortunately, there are not many classes that far north in Florida, why don't you try the Rondeau School, they're probably the closest. There is a non teaching teacher living in St. Augustine, maybe she'll start a class someday!
I will be moving to Jacksonville soon and would like to fine out where there are schools. I have danced since I was young and now compete and do shows as an adult in an adult ceilidh group. Please let me know of any schools in the area that offer adult classes, or if anyone is interested in starting an adult group.

In St. Augustine they have a studio on master drive called Glas tara

I think you should, if you havent already, contact the Tir Na Greine School of Irish dancing!I attend this school and its sooo wonderful...the teachers are wonderful, and so friendly!! www.tirnagreine.com good luck

I am a local (jacksonville) musician who has been learning Irish music recently. i am very interested in maybe doing something, open to ideas. do you play any instruments or sing as well? i play every friday at paradise alley at the beach and play sometimes at flys tie. would love to hear from u. ron johnson
