After getting rained out the previous weekend, 11 teams make the track to Caddo Mills for the first race of many this season at Redline Raceway. At the end of the night, or should I say early morning, �The King� returned to his throne.

Tommy had converter problems all night and it finally caught up to him as Mike makes a clean run to advance to the semi�s.

Mike had two hundredths on Melvin at the start but that 154 mph was enough to drive around Mike and make it to his second final of the year.

Mat used his starting line advantage to get by Brinkerhoff and make it to his first final of the year.

This race was over at the start as Melvin strapped a huge starting line advantage on Mat.

They got three people leaving the racetrack sunday evening in wichita falls (assholes)

Got stopped by dot leaving track. They are waiting on 369 for us to leave , i am not the only one this has happened to. we are being targeted. got me for overlength and wrong saftey chain placement. the law in texas is 65ft for a vehicle registered as a motorhome was told if you had a overlength permit it was not valid for motorhomes and you would be parked on the side of road. I will contact my state rep David Farabee on monday to see about getting laws changed as north carolina did for their racers. Please call farabees office @940-322-4122 and explain to him our situation and what he could do for us. Remember they could get you next week as they on parking on 369 and waiting for us to leave. the dot officer said they cracking down on us. thanks roger

- here is what you need to be legal, a class a license(for permit) a $10000 surety bond,and an overlength permit which is 30,60 or 90 days. the 90 permit is $240. they will not require you to have class a to get permit but if you get stopped without the class a your permit is no good. was also told that if they stop you they look in trailer the must pretty much fill length of trailer so no excess floor unused. only car in length of trailer no generator,tool boxes,golf carts,4 wheelers etc in front or behind the car. these items can be on the side of trailer. This is temporary and could change at anytime , in other words they could change the law and not issue permits to motorhomes pulling trailers at any time. Any help would appreciated. I wanted to invite everyone to come to this year�s Fort Worth Relay For Life this Friday April 3rd from 6 pm to 6 am at Farrington Field (off University) in Fort Worth. Relay for life is a carnival like fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. There is food and fun for all ages. All proceeds go towards research and funding for the support efforts of the American Cancer Society. If you don't know I have a lot of cancer in my family, the most recent was my own diagnosis in 2006. Obviously I survived and am thankful for the contributions that have been made through the years that have allowed research and aid for my family and others like my self. we will be there until 6 AM. Also tell your family and friends if you think they would be interested, there will be some awesome raffles.
