Date Posted: 18:38:08 05/10/04 Mon In reply to: Nelson 's message, "Nate Minnoy's Evaluation" on 11:33:30 05/10/04 Mon I guess I'm a little confused by your post. I don't think I've ever referred to Nate as a power forward or a back-to-the-basket player. I agree with you 100% that Nate has been the most productive player durring his high school career. But it's become a reality that you can get a better idea of where a kid stacks up based on AAU performances. With that said, Nate can score on anyone. If/When he develops a left hand (he ALWAYS goes right) and a consistent jumpshot (like any good player, when he's hot, he'll hit, otherwise he's not a good shooter) it'll make him impossible to guard. The reason I say he has no defined position right now is that he can't guard anyone at the high major level. He gets abused on the wing by wing guards and forwards and down low he's just too short to challenge any real post players. I hope that clears up where I stand on him. Thanks for the info on Purdue. I knew Texas A&M offered when Billy Gilespie took over and the Ole Miss did when Tracy Dildy showed up, but I didn't hear about the Purdue offer.
