] Date Posted: 10:54:42 06/30/04 Wed I think the band is doing in what "they" feel is good, but in turn it is up to the people you play for and those you want to attract to the shows! I have been the sound man for Takabite when they were a very happening band and I also do miss it too! But that was the old TB.. They all have great talent and we are friends but Listen to the people without them the band wouldn't be!! Have a good one guys!! Been followin the "bite" for just over 5 years and have seen them go through various talent, lead, keys, bass...all of who have provided different styles, etc. Have got to know some great people and some talented musicians also. As of late, Takabite is becoming more of a band you listen to and less of one that you interact with. (ie: dancing) The music they are playing is great but I agree that they have fallen away from what has always brought the people out to hear them. Evertime I hear a song on the radio, I tell my son, the band used to do that song, but they don't anymore. What happened to The Stones, The Indigo Girls, Steely Dan, The Bodeans?? All great music, but no longer covered. I think that it's time to get away from the cerebral and back into the physical, booty-shaking Takabite that we all remember and love. If that means a change in bandmates, then so be it. Takabite is talented and great to listen to, but they need to remember, they would be nowhere without the fan base they have spent many years building up. Alot of talent But the crowds have been dwendling! They know it and you know it! They have always had a problem wanting to play NEW tunes..Besides when a member changes! Learn to spell you dumb-ass or just dwendle through life....lol. There have been alot of changes in the band through the years...some good, some bad, but they always work themselves out. Bobby G may not be your choice for guitar in this band, but he is still a fine player and should be judged by that ,not by the way he looks or dresses on stage.
