Crimeny!! Such sour grapes! Been followin the "bite" for just over 5 years and have seen them go through various talent, lead, keys, bass...all of who have provided different styles, etc. Have got to know some great people and some talented musicians also. As of late, Takabite is becoming more of a band you listen to and less of one that you interact with. (ie: dancing) The music they are playing is great but I agree that they have fallen away from what has always brought the people out to hear them. Evertime I hear a song on the radio, I tell my son, the band used to do that song, but they don't anymore. What happened to The Stones, The Indigo Girls, Steely Dan, The Bodeans?? All great music, but no longer covered. I think that it's time to get away from the cerebral and back into the physical, booty-shaking Takabite that we all remember and love. If that means a change in bandmates, then so be it. Takabite is talented and great to listen to, but they need to remember, they would be nowhere without the fan base they have spent many years building up. Keep us oldtimers interested and the young'uns will follow! Love you guys, always!
