] Date Posted: 06:29:33 07/06/04 Tue I've been listening, following & friends w/TAKABITE for 11 years. I've watched them change members (some for the good some for the bad). I've watched them go thru hard times & good times. I know that CHANGE is a HARD THING & NOT ALWAYS EASY to adjust too. I will always like TAKABITE, but I DO MISS THE OLD TAKABITE. I remember getting on the dance floor at the Grid Iron, Pepe's & Leroy's and dancing all night. You didn't stop til it was last song and you screamed "ONE MORE" begging Maggie or JV or Dickie. You didn't care what it was... you just didn't want them to end... I'd drive to Elkhart, Allegan, Michigan, Kankakee just for a nite to listen to them play ... then turn around and drive back home. But its just not the same. THE TALENT IS THERE ... but they need to LISTEN to the fans... What happen to all the orginals???? Maggie coming upfront and singing?? I too would turn to my child and say ... TAKABITE use to play this... Guys, YOU ARE AN AWESOME BAND... please don't lose your following... Please listen to your fans... We'll work with you if you work with us... Well, I spoke my opinion..... Thanks ..... Date Posted: 10:14:10 02/08/05 Tue They don't care about their fans anymore. I stopped seeing them about 6 months ago. Was not having fun anymore. Bobby Georges, nobody comes close! Bobby Mills, rock solid And Maggie and Johnny, we'll always love them! Open your ears a little more! There are very few bands that have the dynamics and musicianship this band has. There are enough CHESSY bands out there to go around. Whats wrong with Takabite evolving. At least they have the guts to challenge themselves and still make us groove. We're with the band through thick and thin and they are gaining new fans as well. Love you guys.
