I fell in love with this book. It was the most remarkable, touching story I have ever read. O'Neill pulled me into a world where everything was different yet I felt as though I belonged - and extended my volcabularly by about a hundred words while he was at it.

I think the best quality of the books was it's characters, all of which I loved to their core despite, or perhaps because of, their faults. The ending of the story almost had me in tears, although I still found it highly satasfactory, and was unsurprised by the tragic events.

I was impossibly touched by this book, and I don't think I will ever forget it as long as I live.
