I finally picked up the Rock & Roll Fun House DVD.
The performances by The Knack are stellar. Outstanding mixing, especially for the surround sound mix. It's great to see the cameras zooming in on Berton while he's ripping out one of his killer solos.
I do have a gripe though. What moron approved the final product with SO MANY synchronization problems between the video footage and the audio track? I know it is hard to synch up the two separate entities as I have been involved with concert video production. But, come on guys, there are occurances throughout the entire program. The perfectionist in me says "this will not do".
Shame on the film editor and production team.
