Why in heavens name can't the other 3 guys just let Bruce be Bruce. Without Bruce Gary, there is no My Sharona. There is no drummer then or now that could have come up with that intro. I bet it took Bruce all of 1 or 2 takes to come up with that drum intro. Then there is his sound, energy, etc, etc. There are drummers and then there is Bruce Gary. I've been around world class musicians my whole life and I especially know my drummers. My brother(lead guitar with Van Morrison for over 30 years) was in a band with Bruce in 1976-77 called The Giants(Casablanca Records).Give Bruce Gary is due and respect.Bruce is the most creative drummer out there and probably the most underated. Without being too presumptious, I'm sure his drumming abilities is the last reason he's not the driving force today....Bruce,we all love you man ....
