I was 21 and in college. The Knack pounded the crud out of the mindless disco beat of the time and was a welcome turn back to pure energized pop rock. Everyone on college GOT THE KNACK and maybe thats why it was one of the best selling albums. Hey and even us guys could easily relate to my "good girls don't" or "frustrated". Summer of 79 was a great one and the Knack were a part of that. Try to be a little more positive. The Beat featuring Paul Collins was simple cords and punchy. It sells on Ebay now for $50.00 a used CD. There must be something to that high energy music people like. The Knack was even better then the Beat.
