Hello my name is Jose Florido from Málaga (Spain) and I´ve been fan of the knack since 1979 when I was fifteen years old . When I began to play , My sharona was an essential piece in our own repertoire of covers . From now on I´ve bought each LP or CD by the knack , this includes Doug Fieger solo album , the two Sky Lp´s , Bruce Gary drum samplers or the 3 DVD´S published.
The Knack are a part of the soundtrack of my life , and I was happy when by his website I had knowledge of their first visit to León (Spain) , without no question I travelled 900 kilometres with my family to see a group whose music has inspired me deeply.
Just in front of Doug , in the first row and with my daughter Alicia (fifteen years old ),we both sang each song of the knack in an exciting concert from first to last number.
The knack played almost all ``get the knack´´ (except maybe Lucinda or That´s what the little girls do) some songs from …but the little girls understand (havin´a rave up , baby talks dirty , hard way …) one of the third (radiating love) , one of the fourth (Doing the dog) and some excellent covers (A hard day´s night in memory of John Lennon , Long Tall Sally and Tequila / keep on trough to the other side with extended solos especially by Berton)
The four members were in perfect mood and I think they were specially surprised by the strong answer and warmth of the Spanish audience that sang all their songs from the beginning to the end.
I missed some songs like my favourite ``One day at a time´´ or ``zoom´´ and ``normal´´ material but I think almost two hours was OK and I must say the same that the members of Farrah said before The knack began the show ``It´s so exciting to share the same stage with The Knack ´´. Greetings from Spain . PP
