I'll jump in here to say that I have 'researched' NOI in the past few months and although there are quite a few beliefs they hold that I don't agree with there are also quite a few I do agree with. Every religion, organization, group, what have you, has people opposed at least some parts of their beliefs. It's the mentality of "Your way is wrong mine is right". And who is really to say which way is right or wrong?
The NOI has every right to their opinion and their beliefs as well as any other religion, AS LONG as no one is getting hurt because they don't believe in the same principles.
Their Web site is www.noi.org. I've been reading some of the Holy Qur'an translation, it's pretty interesting. I also keep in mind while reading it that, just like the Bible, (and the law for that matter) it can be translated to support more than one belief. It just depends on who is doing the 'translating'.
