 To be convicted of murder when you are what?...13? A lot of people tried to rehabilitate Nate, but truth is he was too damaged.

He is one of society's failures. There are some things that cannot be changed with love and attention and support. It would be an extraordinary child who could come from the background he did, commit murder at a very young age and spend 10 years in jail and come out with all the tools necessary to live a productive life.

I am not surprised, but I am sorry for him.
