What a day it was Saturday. My son and I got up at 6:00AM and took off to San Antonio, to pickup some parts for Project Trigger. We got there, picked up the parts and hauled butt back home. But not before stopping at Bill Millers BBQ for lunch...YUM!!!..We need a Bill Millers in the Valley ASAP!....Anyway, we were back home by 5:00PM. Just in time to get ready for the Saturday night Cruise In at Colonial Village. If you are sitting around at home and not enjoying this rare Valley weather then you suck!!..lol. Get up off your butt and bring out your hotrods to the Cruise In dudes! Here are some pics we snapped off of the cars in attendance. And a little video we made of Project Trigger cruising with our Warhead Camaro. Check it out!!!!.....

Want to say a few words about this awesome T-Bucket built at Jimmy Cameron's Camco Trailer shop in McAllen. The car was built for Jerry (the gentleman in the blue shirt). Jerry was diagnosed with terminal cancer. When Jimmy heard about this, he took Jerry's dream car and made it a reality for him. The car was handbuilt from scratch in only 10 weeks! Guy's, that is what it's all about. Check this out, the car weights 1900 lbs. The engine makes close to 500hp. Do the math! This thing is a blast! Anytime you have the ability or even a skill to donate for a good cause, go for it! Jerry is now able to enjoy his hotrod and he is having a blast! Want to say Good Job! to all the guy's at Camco Trailer for coming together for this good cause.....

Here are some victims of the recent events of the race track being closed while the new owners take over. David Guzman and family purchased this awesome Challenger to take out to EIRT and have some fun. But, with no track, this means the Challenger will have to wait to tear up the asphalt. But I am sure Dave has already stretched it's legs just a bit...lol.

Check it out. I had always heard about this car but had never actually seen it. This car is as rare as a white Buffalo. But I guess they do exist. This awesome beast of a Mustang is owned by Chris Bullard. The car is absolutely beautiful. And does it go? Oh yeah! Don't know what is under the hood but I can tell you it is mean, mean, mean. Don't believe me? Hell, just look at those huge tires and the wing and the parachute and all that cool stuff. How fast is it? We don't know because we don't have a track...haha. That is just picking on Freddy...lol.

You want to talk Modern Muscle? How about this badass 1955 Shoebox owned by Roland Arrevalo. Roland has owned the car since like 1932 or something..lol. But check out the power under the hood. Yeah, that is an LSx engine with fuel injection backed by a full built 4L60E overdrive transmission. Roland say's he will never ever go back to old engine tech. He said Modern Muscle is the way to go. And I got to say, I agree with him. Good job on the '55 Roland, it's awesome!
