If there are any of you left out there who wanted to display your car at the McAllen Carfest car show, but for whatever reason failed to get registered on time, if you will contact Al Diaz on his cell phone at (956) 681-3828 and you would like to try and enter your car/truck in the show.

Last night the parking was assigned to those of you who are already entered in the show, but he found out he still has a few places that can be used for showing your car. So, if you delayed before, do not hesitate now, call Al as soon as you read this. If he is unable to answer, leave a clear message and he will return your call.

This is a premium show, with plenty of entertainment as well as great cars. Remember, if your car is in the show, you get in to see the show free. What a deal. So do it now. You will have a great time at the show.

The McAllen Convention Center will host the annual McAllen International Auto Fest on January 27-29, 2012. Nearly 200 vehicles will be on display in both exhibit Halls of the Center and on the adjacent parking lot. The show will feature over 10 different categories of vehicles ranging from classic and antique to muscle cars, hot rods and race cars to modern and concept vehicles.

Show highlights will include:

• Classics and exotics
• Muscle cars and Hot Rods
• Modern and Concept Cars
• Custom Motorcycle Displays
• Kids Model Car Build-Off
• Road Skill Test Track
• Show and Shine
• Swap Meet
• Live Entertainment
