 The weather was awesome yesterday. Perfect weather for a long drive in the Hotrods. This time, Vern & John, the organizers of the cruise, took us on FM490 to Rio Grande City. I must admit, in 25 years of living in the Valley, I had never taken the road to Rio Grande City. The road was nice and smooth. Our destination was the La Borde Hotel & Restaurant right of 83 in Rio Grande City. We didn't get to go inside due to the fact that we took our dog with us and I don't think the restaurant was pet friendly. Either way, we had a great time and look forward to the next one.
