If you weren't aware...a very similar thing happened to a cycling club in mission. The city wanted to use the land for a different purpose and the club members banded together in public protest...they attended meetings and made their presence known. What we need is a personal, professional, family friendly response from the local racers. I'm not talking about this public display of ignorance I've been reading from some lately. THATS EMBARASSING!!! The attitudes, language, and fault finding I've been reading on some recent posts isn't a fair representation of the "local racers" I've met....I've met firemen, business owners, border patrol agents, local racers that contribute to local economy. Here is my suggestion.... Any racer that can bring your car, trailer, and BBQ pits and setup right in front of the city hall. Make it an all day event and get a local news station to be there interviewing and make a good representation of the "real local racer". This is just my humble opinion.....kent p.s. To the haters 1. I put my name. 2. I'm a local racer "new car in progress" 3. I can write a sentence without every other word being $@#*%.
Lastly thank you Mr. Cruz for your love of racing. The track was always a fun, safe place that I enjoyed greatly!!

>Lets make this happen !! when do we go ??
I would be glad to drag my rig down from Alice and see what we can make happen. No doubt a lot of people have been going about this the wrong way. We are better people than the way most of the post have been going we need to show the city this and possibly we could convince them to hurry and sign. Alice (aka Team Alice) has been racing in the valley for almost 20 years now and we would like to keep it going. It has been a fun place to race and a lot of good freinds have been made at the track.
