You are fortunate to have a track in your back yard. look at the big picture,, thats car count ! facilities bring cars ! serious racers with families whom stimulate your local economy,, 2 day promoted events,, this brings money to more than the track, hotels,restaurants, shoping malls. that is why the city wanted up-grades,, it's business and a great track means business for many not the few !
