] Date Posted:18:07:51 07/02/09 Thu It was about 9:00PM last night when my phone rang. It was Smiley, reminding me that we had a match race. Man, I didn't even remember. Told Smiley not to move and I was on my way. Man, and what a race it was. Smiley was going to run Sniper for the chance to go after El Chapulin for the #8 Spot. Smiley won that race with a sick 9.79 pass. Man, I just cannot understand how you take a tank like The Farm Truck into the 9's...LOL! And Smiley? Well, he ain't no small boy either. After Smiley dispatched the Sniper Stang, he went at it with El Chapulin. Not only did Smiley run a 9.79 once, but he did it twice! And in different lanes to boot. Awesome job Smiley.
Also racing last night was Jesse Torres and Tony "Bullit". This one was a last minute, unplanned race. Looks like Jesse bolted on a blow-thru supercharger on the 1-Bad-Habit Stang. And boy did this thing turn out wicked. The race between Jesse and Tony was pretty close. With Jesse taking the win. After the race, Jesse came back and made another test hit. Resulting in a 10.47 pass. Freaking wicked!!...Jesse, your car sounds awesome with that blower whine. Good job man. Well, that is it for now. Here are the pics. I will be back with video of all the action from last night. As well as video from the last few races. Stay tuned for more action.
