I emailed the Bihar School of Yoga which was founded by Swami Satyananda---a direct chela of Sivananda. He published many books on raja and hatha yoga. He claims to teach kriya yoga and one of his kriyas is near our kriya. I think it is in the book mudras and bandhas.

I asked one of his Swamis how Satyananda got kriya and the answer was he was given it after 12 years of ashram training on the day when Sivananda told him to leave and start his own ashram. I asked where Sivananda got it and the answer was Babaji. Sivananda also had a sannyas guru he stayed with also for only a few days. Email Bihar School of Yoga to investigate.
