Tantra and yoga are in essense the same thing in ancient vedic culture. Read David Frawley's books for more on that. Kriya is the esse of tantra. In my mind it is the only pure tantra. Yoni or jyoti mudra is the ultimate technique in tantra and yoga.

The rubbish that is called tantra today is taken from misunderstood manuals that cloaked the inner experiences in the lingo of sex, etc.

Yogananda gave a tantric technique of sorts to a few...Told them when you have sex keep love in the heart and attention on 3rd eye. That is about as good as you can get. It offsets all the prana rushing down...

People like Bagavan Das claim he got near orgasm, kept the lady on his lap, and did deep pranayams and got prana tp ajna and went into samadhi. All with a stiffy as I inferred. I doubt it. Sex and yoga are different.
