From my limited knowledge: Time seems to be, in plain, acknowledging the past by mind. Mind has a habit of tracking each frame of this movie (life) and relates the current frame (data or information) to past frames that, in reality, no longer exist. This happens out of fear of mind survival. Space also seems to be the phenomena of mind that has limited itself to the body. These two seems to be there since lack of awareness of Purusha.

If you look back in the archives of this board, one of the posters had given a beautiful explanation on time and space.
