A genuine Guru always set the example by observing faithfully yama and niyama at all times. No spiritual edifice shall survive if its moral foundation is flaw.

False teachers will always try to justify their evil ways in order to exploit gullible people.
Fake teachers may exhibit great intellectual prowes, but having a degree of intellectual knowdledge does not make a person a moral person at all.
