Actually Einstein never really embraced quantum mechanics and its central tenet, the uncertainty principle. Einstein believed in an ordered and predictable universe, while quantum mechanics holds that there is a degree of uncertainty or chaos to any prediction - - in other words, all rules are subject to exception.
