It means mood or attitude as relating to specific types of spiritual experiences. Take for example Ammachi, she was known widely for going into Krishna and Devi Bhava at a certain time every week and giving darshan to devotees in those states. In other words the cosmic consciousness of Krishna or Ma was expressing through her at that time.

Yogananda also was known to give expression to different bahavas, like the time he was expressing the consciousness of the great sage Chaitanya, or the time Divine Mother Herself spoke through him during his great ecstacy of 1948.
