This quote is promoted by the false gurus who want the true Gurus to remain silent so that they may exploit the new comers and the new world. So the false one can make a false living. Gita says that even God takes awtars to destroy the injustice, ignorance, and exploitation. It is criminal to see the corruptions in the Kriya and to remain silent. Besides there is such a thing as to go out and reach those who are truely seeking, confused, and asking for help. There is also a debt incurred (bad Karma) by those who learn something and die without passing it on. So a true Guru never keeps quiet when true seekers are there and are calling for help. Besides, the most important learning and realization takes place for the Guru, by the students interactions with the Guru. The Guru must teach to further advance himself. Jai guru!
