Subject: Where does the OM Technique and Hong Sau come from

Neither of these seem to feature in the Lahiri tradition.THIS IS NOT A CRITICISM BY THE WAY.The S R F lessons tell us that they came from the Rishis,I have no reason to doubt that.I would just like to know exactly where,which tradition did P Y get them from or were they the result of his own experimentation?
