One reason I was attracted to Kriya was reading Swami Hariharananda account of receiving Kriya from different sources. It seemed the Kriya gurus worked together, and that impressed me. Sant Mats modern history, which started about the same time as modern Kriya history with Lahiri Mahasaya, was full of disputes. I only realized later that the same problem was with Kriya- only waiting for the term "Johnny" to allow it to explode and bring all of the bad feelings of at least one branch to the surface.
