All of us who have been practicing for so many years have gone through these same feelings. But I tell you -- you have no idea how much you are changing! If you are awaiting a great flash of light and the rug of this earth pulled out from underneath you to signal your Realization, don't. It is happening subtly everyday as you are practising. Your reliance on the intake of oxygen is decreasing. You have more calmness in your life. More and more this will increase, but not in a day.

Lahiri Baba advised not to think of the past or future, only practice Kriya in the present. If you adopt this attitude, you will not fall into the trap of expecting results, which can be an impediment in itself.

Reread the Gita -- Lord Krishna says that if death intervenes before the Goal is reached, nothing to fear. You will be reborn in a spiritual family in the company of yogis, and continue where you left off. It is also possible that you will not return to Earth, but a higher planet, or a higher plane. Do you have any idea of the tremendous sattvic Karma you are amassing through Kriya practice? Through the practice of Kriya Pranayam, the karmas of thousands upon thousands of sins are destroyed.

Do not think of anything. Offer your practice to God -- He is taking care of you.
