Sundarar,

I would like to make sure my meaning was clear to you.

I did not mean that it would leave one non functional in the world. I was speaking about leaving the pleasures of the world, and going beyond name and fame. One would surely, it seems to me, be totally functional in the world to a much higher degree.

What you are speaking of in terms of neurosis and health problems, I think, could be the result of a person trying the higher Kriyas without performing the preliminary Kriyas leading up to them. It must be done step by step to allow the body and mind to adjust over time, but I have not experienced any Kriya that would cause a neurosis or health problem. I know that the Kriyas actually allow one to see the conditioning/ neurosis/karmas that defines onces life to that point.

For me Kriya has not been about the inner experiences so much but allowing me to see the restictions that I have been operating from. Things I knew that were operating in my life, and I could vaguely see from time to time but not really get a handle on were brought to the surface very vividly.

kind regards,

m
