Anything witnessed in consciousness is there only by virtue of a resolve. At times the Divine may grant the Sadhak clues or signposts to indicate progress or to give him something to deepen the meditation. Also if the resolve of the Sadhak is strong enough then they're own mind can clearly also create any range of imagined phenomenon.

The way to God is not via some illumined point between the eyebrows, but through a complete merger of the mind into the oneness of "Christ Consciousness". One significant point about the Ajna is that once the eyes fix here and stop their tendency to want to pull back out, there is a greater chance that the downward pull of duality can become singularised and the actual experience of oneness interiorized. This is the true journey to God, the complete surrender of the mind into 'Christ' and finally the surrender of the I.

For those fortunate to see a manifestation, see it purely as a grace from the divine, not as some egoic opportunity to create hierarchical division. For those not seeing it, the test must be whether you are achieving peace that lasts after meditation, and whether the thoughtless state is increasing in length during Sadhana.

I am a Yogananda Kriya devotee but have the fortune of now also being under the direct guidance of an Indian Saint ShivaRudra Bala Yogi, who attained Nirvikalpa Samadhi in 1999 - one of only few in the world right now.

These are his teachings.
