STOP DOING KRIYA PRANAYAM.

There was a boy who got kriya at 16, meditated all the time etc etc. At around age 25, he started hearing voices. SRF was contacted by his parents. They were not at all helpful.

The boy used to go on "spiritual quests" alone in the wilderness. Two years ago, he became a missing person. In April, parts of his skull and teeth were found in the mountains.

Pranayam seems to increase the oxygen in the bloodstream. Medical researchers are just beginning to examine the affect of oxygen levels on the brain.

An interesting place to go to look at brain and brain scan results is the work of Dr Amen. He has best selling books on the subject, which are probably available at your local library. He has a book on depression. The web site is www.brainplace.com
