Its in a book of stories of Maharajji collected by Ram Dass. Many of them were written by him too. Its called "Miracle of Love: Stories of Neem Karoli Baba"

Theres a part where he was reported to have said:

"I once went by Maharshi Ramana. He got up to follow me but I ran away."

Re: the therapy. I guess each SRF monastic has their own approach and understanding. In my case I felt that the particular problems I faced were of the kind that therapy might very well help in solving as they were directly related to a lot of the everyday life type problems a great majority of people went to psych's to help resolve.
