Yes, Sivananda is a great soul. I posted that bit about what he referred to as Kriya only to clarify that it is not the same kundalini science taught by Babaji but refers to the physical cleansing in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Sivananda did deal with Kundalini at length (lol, he dealt with everything at length) and he stressed laying the right foundation before such a thing as awakening Kundalini is attempted.
