I appreciate your posts and sharing.

I too have heard the sounds of the chakras and agree with your assessment. As for kutasta, I have seen it in many variations--usually a silver dot appears 1st and it turns into a star, then the gold ring and then the blue fills in. Of course it is all individual what om you hear or order of appearance of 3 sections of kutasta. I value the love and the bliss a lot more because I am rarely intoxicated by the sound or light.

The experience of total withdrawl from the chakras you mention is so vivid and mindblowing that there is no doubt it is not hallucination or flights of fancy. Thelower chakras and the 5 elements they pertain to as manifestations of the om vibration.
You actually percieve this truth.

Then when merging in the light it comes clear the truth of what Paramahansaji said--this is a movie. Its a projection of the light. Not that it is any easier to come back to outward consciousness, but I think it lessens fear of death as Babaji promised kriya practice would.

When this happened I heard the thunder, and it was coming from within my spine and without---actually it was like a tornado in the room and I was barely body conscious so I couldn't get my bearing. It is frightening to a certain degree, and I have had many brushes with death thru my life. The ego does not like this to happen it seems. The fear of death comes up mighty fast and I am reminded of those old Bible movies where a saint like Moses talks to God, wind rushing in his face and Moses cowering in fear at the Light. This is a outer depiction of the phenomena. We watched St Bernadette movie at Hidden Valley with Achalananda in 1995 and Bernedatte see's God as a light and this wind is rushing on her face and Achalananda laughed "that isn't the way it happens!!!". Well, its close. What he was meaning was she had to get pratyahara 1st and would not be standing up and talking out loud--it would be in meditation.

Guruji says the om is a symphony of the lower 5. Then he says also it is like a thunder or ocean roll, but he says that of the 5th chakra. So what is the real om? I asked Achalananda recently this question and said he was wondering the exact same question!

Actually the traditional kriya wants to hear the om at the heart but Guruji says the thunder at the throat is the key to the advanced states.
