Yes, I have read the book but have not got it in my possession. I have seen it though and skimmed every page. The successor of Satyananda in charge now has written he is not responsible for you and the awakened kundalini if you are not at the ashram. They encourage you to live there when you practice kriya that is. Seems some fear around people practicing it on their own. I feel I am safe and Yogananda is guiding the process.

If I recall correctly one of those techniques is very similar to our kriya pranayam and does not involve a hatha asana. Can you find it in there? Well, regardless see my new post at the top of the page. I emailed them and they say they teach kriya pranayam and it came from Babaji. I have no problem with that, whether its true or not. It sure is interesting.
