Subject: While its true that the issue, if played out in a normal way, would eliminate them from the show, there are other ways to write them in. The Hump Bar will be a fixture, Betty isnt even related to anyone serving presently and she is in the major story line. Denise is at the post hospital, she doesnt have to be an army wife to be in the show, she'll just live off post. Sooo there are alot of ways the story lines could go. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
In reply to: Amy 's message, "Here goes: 1. Trevor isn't hurt bad so don't see a problem. Don't see an issue of transfer b/c then they would no longer be on the show..lol. 2. Don't know and don't care, I don't watch the Unit. 3. I love Denise and her finding herself. Frank pisses me off and while yes I think he'll adjust he'll go kicking and screaming. (Next weeks preview at Lifetime I want to just slap him, what a jerk). 4. It was reaction to grief. He's a 30 year man easily. 5. Don't really care, I thought that scene was a waste of time. Best Scene of the Night: Denise on her motorcycle..too cool)." on 12:37:44 07/02/08 Wed

[> [> [> I disagree mkim. If Roxy and Trevor were transferred it would be to a different post which would be a different state or they could even be transferred out of the country. So don't see a possiblity there. As far as Denise, while yes she is a nurse and could work there, she would have to live off post if she weren't married to Frank. Hence the whole premise of the show is shot. The show is about these 5 Army Wives (one husband) who live on post together and their relationships with each other and their spouses. -- Amy, 15:36:24 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> As far as Betty, she's just a guest star who periodically shows up when the hump bar is shown. She's on right now because she's staying with Roxy. She'll be leaving soon and will possibly or probably be a guest star if/when she visits. Like I said above, this show is about these couples at Fort Marshall and what goes on around post. -- Amy, 15:41:05 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> Betty has been in every episode this season. As far as Trevor and Roxy are concerned. I think Roxy is more the focus of the two. I was speculating about possible conflicts in the future. Its still a possibility. I believe the focus will always be the wives, not necessrily the husbands. -- mkim, 18:27:48 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> The hospital is on Fort Marshall, and once again, Amy, were speculating here, no one knows how this will go.(Unless you have access to the script, and even then no one knows what will actually be shown) the fun would be...if we're allowed to do it, is to discuss the possibilities. -- mkim, 18:46:34 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> I agree Mkim, if Denise splits from Frank and marries another Army doctor at the hospital, she'll still be an Army wife and be on the show, but she'll be free of Frank. I can't stand Frank, I want to smack him every time I see him. If he accuses her of having an afair I think I'll scadoo into the TV and kick him in the shins. LOL! -- Theresa, 17:03:50 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> Well, unfortunately Denise would only be able to stay on post for 6 months after a death and after a divorce she would have to leave right away. I highly doubt that Denise would turn around a day or two later and marry someone else in the military so she could stay on post..lol..I mean get real. It wouldn't go that way and Denise would look like an idiot. While I'm not happy with Frank right now, Denise and Frank won't divorce and she'll stay on post so she can remain on the show. It's going to be a battle but Frank will come around. Again, you need to remember the premise of the show. -- Amy, 17:21:36 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> You are missing the point I was trying to make, Amy. Denise is employed by the Army hospital as a civilian, so if something were to happen to her marriage in the future, she wouldnt have to be written out, since the hospital is on base. I dont think Theresa is saying D would marry someone on post to stay on post. I do know the premise of the show, Amy. I also have alot of experience as a Navy wife and Army mom. I dont think any of us know how it will go, the point of this thread was to discuss....POSSIBILITIES without belittling someone else's opinion. -- mkim, 18:38:03 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> You're missing my point mkim and I'm not belittling your point at all. All I'm trying to get across to you is that this show is about the Army Post of Fort Marshall and the Army Wives that live on the post. They would never move Denise off the Army Post and have her still work at the hospital. Denise moving off post and working at the hospital is not even an option because of the premise of the show and she won't divorce Frank. I actually do know how it will go. inside.. -- Amy, 21:28:37 07/02/08 Wed [1]

and I'm just saying that your suggestions aren't possibilities. Again refer to the premise of the show. Five Army Wives (one husband) living on a Army Post in South Carolina, not living off post and working on post. Denise is a main character and they won't have a main character move off post and be a recurring character. And that's not belittling anything.

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Yes but premises can change and since you don't write or the produce the show you can't say for certain what will happen. And I have to agree your tone of posts comes across as belittling anyone who doesn't agree with you. We know you love CB and all she does but that doesn't mean we can't speculate and toss around ideas. I would love to see Denise with someone else as I don't like Frank either. So I guess all we can do is wait and see and speculate. -- Hope, 23:19:01 07/02/08 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> I agree that the show is set in Fort Marshall....and that the show is centered around 5 Army wives....but Denise will be an Army wife until she dies, that's something you never ever stop being. I'm still a Navy wife, and I havent been on a naval base in years. And Amy, if youre not belittling...then youre just plain hateful. Lighten up. I'm just specualting possibilities here, I can do that. -- mkim, 01:12:42 07/03/08 Thu [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> Unless any of us are writers for the show there is no way we can unequivivally say what is going to happen. They can easily move Denise off post or have her divorce Frank. WE cant say what the writers have in mind. If the shows havent aired...anything is possible. I have a lot of experince lately with how things are filmed and being on set. NOTHING is set in stone until the director yealls cut and print. Then it is still up to the whims of the editing team. LOL -- Trish...I have seen the entire script go in a totally different direction in a click of the pen., 21:20:19 07/04/08 Fri [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> Mkim is right because no matter how much the military keeps an eye on JAG especially AW now and how many of us diehards especially military experts want the show to be FULLY ACCURATE...this is still Hollywood. Im even prepared that characters we love will be butchered now and then...we all know what TV does. We can threat to boycott but deep down we are way too addicted to quit. We are veterans when it comes to torture surviving Bellisario's Jag.LOL!!! -- Paris, 23:42:40 07/02/08 Wed [1]
