Subject: LOL For me I am getting tired of them having Bones be so cold first when she wouldn’t donate the money for the scholarship and then here when showed no emotion for the chickens or the pig. Inside for more

I know she is very analytical but after this many seasons I feel she should be a little less cold and clueless. Like how she was with the kids. It is like the formula of the show now has something Bones is cold and indifferent over that the rest of us care about and then have her come around by the end of the show. To me that is getting old. Sometimes she is just like she was the first season with no growth in how she interacts with others and that just doesn’t gel for me after so long.

I do agree Angela was a little much but in some ways she is right what do the two of them have in common. I guess part of this was the fact that it is hard for me to see those animals and not feel something I know I am hypocrite because I still eat eggs and meat but still hard to watch and no way they don’t feel something. So to see Bones so cold about it is not enjoyable.

I am enjoying the interaction with her and Booth but can see he is still not quite back from his surgery.

[> [> [> I don't think you are a hypocrite Hope. There is no reason we can't treat "food" animals humanely. I like meat and eggs, but I don't want to torture sentient creatures. It's so unnecessary. I always buy Free Range or Free Run eggs. It's only a small gesture, I know. As for Bones, it is a bit silly to have her SO cold, when we know that's not true. If she truly had no feelings, she'd be a sociopath. (inside) -- Cece, 20:48:42 11/06/09 Fri [1]

As for Angela, she is a bit of a nutmeg, but she's supposed to be over the top. She was, however, being manipulative over the pig, not to mention engaging in emotional blackmail. That's the kind of thing I don't like in Izzie and Lexie (see post below.)
