reading an article about the debates I noticed this

... drew 5.4 million viewers to the network and 1.73 million in the coveted adults 25-54 demographic.

Uhhh - didn't the 'coveted' demo used to be 18-49?

Haven't we been grumbling for years - why ???- 18 year olds only have as much money as 50 year old mama is willing to give them!!! lol.

Any idea how long this new demo has been 'coveted' ?

What about thoughts on how this new coveted age group is going to affect our favorite shows or the type of shows we see in the future?
