[> Maybe Bones should take a lesson from his comment. Yes, there should always be movement and a spark - unlike Bones which was turning into a bro/sis relationship before the finale. They need to keep it up!! -- BT, 12:00:54 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> Wow. Just Wow. That finale blew me away ( I just finished watching and am working hard on getting my heartbeat under control). AM seems to have a really good grasp of his show, for now the push and pull is still working. Hope he´ll be able to keep it that way. I cannot wait until september to see where it all goes!! -- Jam, 18:22:40 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> I really cried during that ep last night. Stana was awesome. The scene when she forgave Roy was heartbreaking. Who wants to take bets that she wont remember Castles confession? "she will hear him in that moment" Yep, thanks. -- TF, still finding it hard to breath., 19:03:38 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> [> Yeah, she'll remember speaking at the funeral, and the next thing she remembers is waking up in the hospital. And Castle of course won't say anything about it for a while. I can't wait until next season! I may have to start reading Castle fanfic to hold me over! LOL -- JAG Junkie (Ronda), 19:53:23 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> [> [> Exactly, but maybe we will be surprised. I just am leary as how long we will be frustrated for. -- Hope, 19:55:39 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> [> [> I might actually have to write some Castle fanfic! My brain has been in overdrive since Monday and their voices won't be quieted in my head! -- Colie, 09:21:01 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> I wonder if Stana will get an Emmy nomination for this ep? She deserves it. She was great Monday night! -- JAG Junkie (Ronda), 21:36:39 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> [> She was incredible! Wow, that scene when Castle drags her out of the hangar?! Whoa! Did you look closely and see how she actually reaches up and touches his cheek when he holds her against the car? Heartbreaking scene but also my favorite! As for the Emmy's, my money for a win would be on Julianna Margulies though, for the second to last episode of the Good Wife. -- Colie, 10:46:36 05/19/11 Thu [1]

[> [> [> [> Well, I don't watch enough TV to have an opinion on who should win what. My "she deserves it" comment was in regards to her being nominated. I have no idea what the competition would be like for a win. -- JJ (Ronda), 23:44:31 05/19/11 Thu [1]

[> [> [> [> [> Absolutely, she'd deserve that, for sure! Am with you. I'm really just guessing as well, based on the few shows I have seen. Coz it's fun. :-) -- Colie, 00:05:13 05/20/11 Fri [1]

[> Great finale. I just hope they don't frustrate us for too long that is the problem these shows have. So hopefully he realizes the mistakes Bones made. This show could so easily still be good even with them in relationship if they don't wait till long to get them together. -- Hope, 19:53:34 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> [> I also think Castle will get the files that Montgomery sent out. He will have to keep the secret in order to save Beckett from herslef. Many layers to the Caslte onion next year. Only 4 months to wait!! -- TF, 21:36:29 05/17/11 Tue [1]

[> Great finale! Wow and that conversation between Castle and Becket in her apt. WOW!!! I read the interview and kept thinking about the difference between this one and the DB who had no respect for the JAG fans. -- judi, 02:39:46 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> Your last sentence speaks volumes, Judi!! Ain't it the truth. -- jenks, 07:41:10 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> On the other hand, I've been thinking about the amazing similarities between this show and our beloved JAG: the family feel of the department; the inability of Beckett and Castle to speak their true feelings; the interruptions and missed opportunities between them (grr!); Beckett's obsession with mother's murder and dedication to work 24/7 (going inside-->) -- shygirl, 10:30:36 05/18/11 Wed [1]

For me, the anticipation of this finale felt like when I was awaiting a big JAG episode. I'm officially obsessed with this show now. It's approaching JAG status for me -- reading spoilers and websites; rewatching episodes; etc. Love it! It will be a long wait until fall!

[ Edit | View ]

[> [> [> I agree, notsoshygirl, but there is a difference. There are no episodes in Castle where they ignore the relationship. In JAG, there were eps where H&M just acted like they barely knew each other. Several eps like this in a row is one of the reasons I jumped ship. -- judi, 13:30:05 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[ Edit | View ]

[> [> [> [> Yes, I love how there is always a little something for the shippers, much the way way Bones used to be. Too bad JAG wasn't more consistent with the ship. -- JAG Junkie (Ronda), 21:35:02 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> Loved the episode, it was so intense; amazing writing and acting! Could not calm down all night! In fact I loved the entire season. They have been handling the ship so well so far, and have given us so many important scenes, looks, glances... SIGH! It'll be a long wait till September! -- Colie, 09:25:10 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> [> Hi Judi, I know it was a shocker! I saw the Montgomery thing coming, but not the final scene! -- Colie... waving back! Hope you are well!, 21:44:48 05/18/11 Wed [1]

[> [> [> [> I didn´t either. But looking back, it actually seems the logical consequence, doesn´t it? -- Jam, 06:18:03 05/19/11 Thu [1]

[ Edit | View ]

[> [> [> [> [> Well, yes and no. I mean, in retrospect, I see where it came from, but I'm having a little trouble seeing where it's going to go. Not the ship so much, but the aftermath. As for the ship, I've read a couple of different interviews with the producer, and I've been surprised by some of his answers. Won't spoil it anyone who doesn't want to know before we "know," but you're interested, I'm sure you can google "Castle" finale and find them. -- Dancer - crossing my fingers for next season., 03:46:41 05/21/11 Sat [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> BTW, for those of you who read the Castle books, "Naked Heat" is now out in paperback! Saw it at the store today. -- Dancer, 03:48:42 05/21/11 Sat [1]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> And the third book, "Heat Rises" is due out on Sept 20, same day as the season 3 release. Also, the Derek Storm graphic novel comes out the same day. Funny that BOTH of those were featured in the finale. (He threw his glass at the cover art for the third book). -- JJ (Ronda), 13:39:30 05/22/11 Sun [1]

[ Edit | View ]

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> [> What's even weirder is that the paperback came out without a mention on the show. Curious. When the paperback of "Heat Wave" got a release date, they built a whole episode around it. Guess they're happy enough to see how this one does without the "boost" from the show. -- Dancer - No sense injecting the Jameson Rook dynamics into the Castle/Beckett relationship, I guess., 02:13:27 05/24/11 Tue [1]
