Heart-wrenching episode last night. I cried through most of it. Great performances by the whole cast, though.

The cast, esp CB and TS did a phenomenal job. Can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings as they deal with this tragedy.

[> I'm the third crier. The entire cast is to be commended for their very convincing roles. I was so moved by the entire episode and if you haven't seen it, try the Lifetime site. It was, to me, the best episode this season. Someone deserves an award for this one. -- jenks, 09:51:06 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> It was a very well done episode. I'm disappointed that they killed Jeremy, but I thought that the reactions of his fiancee were heartbreaking. Even the scenes with the officers explaining the paperwork, etc. were very well done. -- TH, 11:14:42 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> Fantastic and heartbreaking show last night. The acting was chilling and so well done. Catherine Bell and Terry Serpico deserve an award for their portrayal last night. Terrific episode. -- Becki, 11:41:11 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> Forget the kleenex I needed the towel and vicks vapor rub.I love the episode and best TV show Ive seen in a long long time. This show deserves an award.Terry especially Catherine Bell were magnificent. She even looked so beautiful crying.LOL! When she fixed the tie of her son at the coffin I just lost it and the end when she said I love you to her son.Now Im crying all over again. The ep.title "On Behalf of a grateful nation" is how I feel for our troops forever in debt and forever loving them. -- NGH, 12:06:00 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> When Denise told Roland her babay boy was dead it killed me. Reminded me of my mom when my brother died. I havent cried over a TV show in years. Very well done. (and it wasnt a show all about Claudia Joy) for once. -- TF, 13:23:51 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> [> LOL about Claudia Joy. For my part, there was no Grant the Law Professor in it! I imagine he will have a prominent role as CJ will begin to doubt her life as Michael's wife. -- TH, 13:36:03 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> No one should have to lose their child! No one! The mother of the man who killed Jeremy and who was eventually killed will cry over him as well! He's somebody's baby. Everyone is someone's baby. I can't imagine the grief! It's crippling to think about. -- Theresa, 21:31:35 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> It was so well acted, directed - so poignant and timely. I think Roland will have a particularly hard time of it - his work with Jeremy (therapy) enabled Jeremy to recover and be found fit for full duty, -- jan, 22:38:33 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> I cried almost the whole episode- knew I would. I thought it was great how Claudia Joy was really there for Denise when she had to be remembering how it felt to lose a child not that long ago herself. Wonderful acting by all! -- Lanet, 23:33:58 03/28/11 Mon [1]

[> I'm another one who cried through the whole episode. "Taps" slways gets to me. One thinig - Harm only had voice tapes, but Molly should have videos to show her who her big brother was. -- Wolfeylady, 06:48:33 03/29/11 Tue [1]

[> I thought it was well-directed, as well. Loved that last scene with the wives leaving the cemetery. Beautiful shot! -- shygirl, 07:29:30 03/29/11 Tue [1]

[> Impssoible not cry during it. So well acted and to see Frank lose it a few times very well done. CB was amazing. Sorry it had to be Jeremy but this way no wive has to leave the base. To have to meet your daughter for the first time while bring your son back is horrible. That should have only been a joyous event. -- Hope, 18:15:29 03/29/11 Tue [1]

[> Very touching and meaningful episode. I love CJ and Denise friendship also Roland's and Denise.I sobbed so hard with so many scenes especially at the viewing scene of Denise and Frank. And more tears when CJ was watching Frank who lost it touching his son at the casket. The cast were so awesome, believable and CB was phenomenal.Kudos to her for not turning down this project. -- Gretchen, 00:27:55 03/30/11 Wed [1]

[> Jeremy's death will shake everybody up especially Denise.I saw how she was not herself when the Army officer was talking about the documents,Jeremy's will and the funeral arrangements. So good to see CJ stepped up and TJ for his mom.I know this show is hard for some but Im glad the ratings are breaking records, critics love them, fans and most of all our military loves it.I LOVE AW and Jeremy you will be missed. This is a wakeup call how our military families & soldiers give their all. -- Gretchen, 00:31:26 03/30/11 Wed [1]

[> Wow such a tremendous show and so heartbreaking but poignant. They should be so proud of this ep. The cast did a grear job and the writing just wonderful. And what can you say about CB other than she was superb and very Emmy worthy wow. I too am so glad she did this show. Well done! -- Tara, 14:38:07 03/30/11 Wed [1]

[> If you weren't in tears you don't have feelings. I figured it had to be Jeremy but that didn't make it any less heart wrenching -- CAZ, 18:26:51 03/30/11 Wed [1]

[> Absolutely beautiful. Best TV program out there.I cried so hard because there's a military funeral going on in our nation and many women and men putting their lives on the line for us and the world. Props to all the cast & crew of AW. CB was stellar. -- shipper757, 01:03:51 04/01/11 Fri [1]

[> Im still grieving from this show....well shot and well shown.I have a great deal of respect for this show and for what they do to shed light to our military & their families. The final song"Bright Morning Stars" by Abigail Washburn fits perfectly. To all our Veterans and Troops....you are all missed, remembered and honored at home.I love you all<3 -- Paris, 19:23:25 04/03/11 Sun [1]
