Subject: For fans of Elvis, Photography, Mystery and "cultural icons".....


This has been posted at various news outlets lately, but I don't think I'd have seen it myself if it didn't have a link to the state of Virginia (where I live). I've never been an Elvis fan - I was too young and my parents were not into him - and so I'd never heard of this "famous photo", but the story behind it is rather fascinating and quite an intriguing glimpse into that narrow window of history.

So, the Mystery is solved - the mystery woman tickling tongues with Elvis in the famous photo has been identified. Read on....

My mom LOVED Elvis, so I grew up with him and grew to love his music, and even his movies (the first ones were much better than the latter ones when a new one came out every two months!) I've even been to Graceland. Twice. And once was during Elvis Week, but that was a coincidence. Honest!
