He couldn't tell her why she should stay away from the case, who told him that, etc. That was the secret I was referring to: that there was info about the case that he had to withhold.

I really wonder about the chest scar too. Will she be self conscious of it? Will she never wear anything low cut again? (not like she did that often anyway). Or will it magically disappear like so often in TV land? lol

In addition to Kate seeing a therapist, we will also have the potential for some serious subtext in their occasional "moments" this season.

In addition to whatever that man told him about Montgomery's files, Castle is the only one who knows Kate froze the first time she drew her gun on their original suspect. He even had to talk her through that last confrontation at the warehouse, and only he and she know that.

In some very strange ways, Castle could be in the unique position of being Kate's protector in so many ways this season. I wonder what they'll really do with it.
