hi , i am glad u like my stories, i have lots of them, here is another one.

i recently had a diabetic patient, a young woman in her twenties, who came to me with a severe chest infection for which i prescribed high doses of oral antibiotics and on her follow up visit she was better but not cured, upon history taking i realised she was not regular on her pills, so i ordered two shots of antibiotics immediately , she was very unhappy about it and refused as she is terrified of needles, i insisted and told her husband that if she didi not take the shots now to take her to the hospital to be admitted. he gave her harsh words and she reluctently agreed to take the shots. they were 2 shots of a thick whitish drug 4 ccs each, it came in the form of powder to be dissolved in sterile water not an anesthetic.

she lied on the bed, exposed her butt and i can see her trembling, i felt sad for her, she was one of my regular patients and i never gave her any shot before as i knew her fear but it was a life saving thing.

i wiped her right butt cheek with alcohol and she jerked saying : please do it as painless as possible dont hurt me please.

i inserted the needle quickly, asked did it hurt, she said no, i told her to hold still and started injecting the drug, i knew it will hurt but she screamed out of proportion and yelled oh no it burns, i beg u , stop, please, please, oh oh Ahhhhhh. then i was done.

to convince her to lay back and get the second shot is another story
