Subject: ALTRC BBQ Sun Aug 10th

Calling all Ark-La-Tex area Rabbit enthusiasts. ..

That means 4-H youth too!!!

The Ark-La-Tex Rabbit Club (ALTRC) will hold a Family BBQ and get-together Sun Aug 10th at 4:00 pm at Jessica Mast's home in Shreveport: 13002 Ellerbe Rd Shreveport, LA 71115

Please bring your choice of meat to BBQ, canned or bottled drinks, and a side dish to share. The club will provide the paper goods. We will have horse shoes and games for everyone to enjoy, especially the kids. Oh, you might want to bring your lawn chairs too. ;)

This will be a great opportunity to meet other rabbit hobbiest, talk bunny talk & maybe even exchange a few bunnies, if anyone has any to sell or trade. (hint, hint)

If you are not a member of ALTRC, don't worry, come on... we will be offering club information and membership registration at the BBQ. Membership is not required!

For all club members, this will be renewal time. (smile) All members not present, must send in club membership renewal by Aug 31st to remain in good standing, and on the club yahoo group. If you need a memebrship application, please email our club secretary Steve Patton: spjctk@yahoo. com We really should have done this in Jan, so we are past due...

We will be discussing the upcoming State Fair Double Show and finalizing plans.

Also, we are in the process of trying to put together a 4-H Rabbit Clinic for all the area 4-H rabbit kids. We are looking for a climate controled area, so it's not too hot for the bunnies. More info on this to come.
