Yes i agree its good to have a new coach fresh ideas and all that, but first they need some gymnasts

2 seniors in a squad well thats a joke if one of them gets injured then what, we have already seen HC go out with injury, last year we lost Natalie wilston and Paige K Baker through injury and i have heard that Rachel Ennis is again injured. Do not think this will make a team for the worlds in 2011 to qualify for olympics in 2012

We should have a squad of around 20 gymnasts not 2 plus what? 4 juniors?

Maybe if the squads were increased we would find the real talent in this country and start producing results abroad but until they do that in GB well i am afraid to say that even with a new coach nothing is going to change unless British gymnastics starts to take this seriously and realises that rhythmic is just as good a sport as artistic and needs more funding

The academy which is starting with just HM and FJ should be for at least 10 gymnasts not 2

The other issue with having such small squads is the gymnasts just get burnt out and we have seen that happan on many occassions in this country

I know personal coaches work really hard to get their gymnasts to a certain level but most of them do it as a extra job (which probably do not get paid for) so cannot get them to the standard required to compete at a high level abroad because the number of training hours given in most clubs is not enough, hence why the squad is essential

I know Spelthorne have afull time coach and Canterbury and Savina has produced top gymnasts but they train about 25 hours a week, then she has produced Luisa Cantore who is not in the squad but has as much if not more potential than most of the gymnasts in the squad (thats just my opinion ) Whats wrong with the system?
